Alice in Wonderland Purses in time for the new movie!

I'm a huge fan of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton so when I heard there was going to be an Alice in Wonderland movie I was thrilled! I began a search for fabrics with an Alice theme and found a couple.

The print featured below is a Japanese import that was tough to find. I tracked some down in a London on line fabric shop. I made a Pickford purse and a Scooter zip bag that can be found in my shop by clicking the links.





The fabric featured below I had seen before and, luckily, my memory guided me to the location. There was only a small piece left as it is out of print. I grabbed it and put it away until the last few weeks when I decided that this part of the print would make a wonderful Tallullah. I used a hunter green for the body, to bring out the greens in the print, and framed it with a green braid trim. Awesome!
