Kerri, Angie and CherylLyn with their mom and her new custom made bag on Mother's Day

Kerri, on the right, sent me this great photograph from Mother's Day. She ordered this custom made Tallullah. I used the last of the print for this bag making it a true one of a kind. I think one of a kind, custom made bags make for a pretty special gift. You can know, for sure, no one else on the entire planet has the same bag, plus going the custom route allows you to really tailor the bag for yourself, or the giftee!

Linda was kind enough to assemble the bags she has bought for herself, and her daughter, Nicole. Even though I make the bags and ship the bags, I am always amazed when I see pictures of, or hear the quantity of, my bags, owned by each person. I am humbled that customers come back more than once, and buy again and again. Thank you Linda

Cool Cowgirls

Once more a fabric I love, that I've had for a while till the right use came along. Well the large Tallullah is it. The colors in the print are gorgeous, they have an effect on me that I can't quite describe. Soothing? Comforting? Warming? It just makes me feel good inside LOL! The women are beautiful, especially the one in the duster. What can I say, it's spectacular.

Macaw Magic Large Tootsie Purse

I found this print in an online shop in Hawaii. I couldn't resist, so I bought it, and some others as well (what the heck it's cheaper to pay for shipping on more than one item hee hee)
It's amazing, and the large motif screamed ( you know how noisy parrots can be) at me to use it for a large Tootsie. That's what I did.

Regina's Excellent Adventure, Part Two: The swamp tour

Travel commentary by Regina!



Here’s the ABC bag on the swamp tour; yes, we were in a boat and on water, although in places the water wasn’t very deep. Sometimes it was like we were in a dense forest:





Of course, the entire area wasn’t covered by the purple vegetation (whose name has escaped me); sometimes we went through areas that looked like rushes and sometimes it was more open water, but the bald cypress/Spanish moss were everywhere.

Regina's Excellent Adventure in Louisiana -Alligator Alert!

One of my regular customers, Regina, ordered a chili pepper flap for her Morphin Falcon, and told me she was going to use it when she took a tour of the Tabasco factory. I thought, hmm, Tabasco factory, what's the deal with that place? How interesting, I must Google it

I'll let Regina tell you about it, along with sharing a couple of pics she sent me after she returned home, but first

She sent me the following email while she was on her trip

"Chili peppers flap loved the Tabasco factory ... Mistee is going on swamp tour today ... more later!"

I respond:

"Awesome! I didn't expect to hear from you while you were gone!

If you can get a pic of yourself pulling the Mistee out of an
alligator's mouth, I will send you a free flap! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This photograph shows up in my in box later that day. Hysterical! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She earned herself a free flap quickly, don't you think?





And now more about her trip in her own words.....

"As you may remember from looking at the web site, Avery Island is a salt dome in south Louisiana (near New Iberia) and home to the Tabasco factory, the only place in the world where it’s made ... and they make something like 700,000 bottles per day. The day we were there, they were producing a shipment for Sweden. My chilies flap seemed appropriate for the tour:"



"After the tour, we went in the Company Store, where you can buy all things Tabasco (clothes, food items, ornaments, etc.) and taste all things Tabasco at the tasting bar. They even had Tabasco-enhanced soft drink (it actually tasted pretty good) and as gross as it sounds, jalapeno ice cream ... which actually was really good! You can get the flavor (pun intended) of the items flavored with Tabasco in this shot (notice anything familiar???):"

I was so pleased to make this purse for a firefighter's wife. It turned out great don't you think?

Custom order for gaming kids! Peace signs and graffiti skulls

This is an order I made before Christmas. I thought it was great, but somehow it slipped through the "blogging" cracks.
The peace set was designed to hold a netbook, and a Gamer for a Nintendo that would then be carried inside the larger tote. The graffiti skulls was for a boy and the Gamer fits inside the larger case .

This customer ordered a custom made hummingbird Tootsie, Isn't the fabric great?) came back and bought a Britta from the shop and ordered another custom made Tootsie with this hot air balloon print shortly there after!

Great custom order Matched Set Sugar Skulls

Stephanie ordered this set of sugar skulls, an ABC Camera Case, Sweet Pea Mini Wallet, and Scooter zip bag. She added a Strappy wristlet strap, and a shoulder strap for the camera case too.
