Leah's Morphin Panther Deluxe Messenger Henna Gig Bag

I've blogged about Leah a few times.

She's an amazing Henna artist in Boulder County, Colorado. This entails going to met clients in their homes and so she has to bring her supplies and equipment along with her. She realized that the bag she was using did not met her needs so she asked me to make a Morphin Panther Deluxe, with three flaps.

At first she thought the Panther sizing would be too large, but she realized that one of her pieces of equipment, a pillow, fit perfectly in the sleeve for the laptop.
Here's the bag, fully loaded!

The addition of a zippered pocket on the outer back provided a spot for items that need to be stored flat.

I’m attaching a pic of me with my lovely new purse! I prefer small purses, and this one is the perfect size. Big enough for my essentials but small enough that I won’t be tempted to let it collect a lot of clutter. The fabric and design and construction are beautiful. I love that it stays in place without me having to wear a strap across my chest, and I love how high it hits. (I had hip surgery in June and the purse I’d been using was constantly banging against where the incision was, so that was uncomfortable and drove me nuts.) I just love my otter bag, and I’m sure I will be back for more!

Guatemalan Ikat and Asian Cranes and Mums Tallullah Purses

I've been working on a nice assortment of Tallullahs over the last few weeks. They were all finished today and I will be adding them to the shop over the next few days. Here are the first two. Very different in fabric and style, although the same bag!
The Guatemalan Ikat is a wonderful woven fabric. You can learn all about the Ikat process on wikipedia. I used the fabric on the entire bag, including the handle, which is padded.

The other bag is a wonderful, "Springy" Asian print with cranes and mums on a great salmon background. The body of the bag is a new color I have added to my options, it's called coal, and it's a gray that I hope will go with lots of prints and provide something a little lighter than basic black.

It's Official! The Mistee Mini Wallet Wristlet Purse for iPhones and other electronics

Finally made a few Mistee's to add to the shop. It's a nice little purse, larger than the Breazy, so you could carry your iPhone or Blackberry and an iPod, or iTouch etc .

Especially valuable if they are in cases and you need a little more room inside the bag.

Still has the inner divider to keep them from rubbing together, and the outside zip pocket for your i.d., money etc. Has a d ring on the side so you can add a wristlet strap if you want. Great for vacations, trips to the store, or those of you who hate large purses!

Received The Mistee yesterday and I love it. My iPod Touch and Blackberry (both in cases) fit very nicely and yet it's still small enough for slipping into my purse.

New Asian Flowers Zelda Messenger Bag

My inventory has been dwindling while I have been creating many custom ordered bags, so I am working to correct that! I have a batch of Zelda Messenger Bags in motion.
